My journey to becoming a Buyer’s Agent has followed a path familiar to many with long-standing careers in estate agency. Having founded and successfully run an award-winning estate and lettings agency, I’ve sat in nearly every seat within the office and gained a deep understanding of the property process from all angles.

Throughout my career, I consistently delivered strong results for clients selling their homes. However, I noticed that many sales fell through—not due to issues with the sale itself, but because clients struggled with their ongoing property search. In response, I developed a bespoke Search and Secure service to support them in sourcing their next property, whether on or off the market, and negotiating effectively with sellers or their agents.

The success of this approach led to increasing demand from others seeking assistance in finding their dream home or investment property. What began as an exclusive service for my selling clients soon evolved into a standalone offering. And so, my career as a dedicated Buyer’s Agent began.

I’m still very much an estate agent, and any good agent will tell you—their role goes far beyond simply selling a home. I’ve often found myself acting as my clients’ local expert, negotiator, project manager, contact for other trusted services, interior designer, therapist and more often than not, a friend.

Moving home is a life-changing experience. Helping a family through that journey, especially when they couldn’t have done it on their own, is incredibly fulfilling. I take great pride in going the extra mile for those who truly value the dedication I bring to my work. That said, I’ll also admit, I love the thrill of securing a deal, whether it’s a sale, rental, or purchase.

I draw inspiration from a wide range of people—both within the property sector and from renowned business leaders. I also find great motivation in the support and insight of my family, friends, and trusted industry connections.

As motivational speaker Jim Rohn once said, "You are the average of the five people you spend the most time with." That quote continues to resonate with me both personally and professionally.

There are two standout moments in my property career that I’ll never forget—one marking the beginning of my entrepreneurial journey, and the other… a little less glamorous.

The first was when I opened my own independent estate agency at the age of 27. It was a bold move, but one driven by passion, experience, and a clear vision of how I wanted to serve clients. Building a business from the ground up was both challenging and incredibly rewarding—and it remains one of my proudest achievements.

The second moment took place much earlier in my career. I was still relatively new to the industry and conducting a property viewing. As I opened the front door, three cockroaches dropped straight onto my hand—the entire doorframe was crawling with them. After some hesitation (and deep breaths), both the buyer and I went inside. The property was in terrible condition, riddled with damp, condensation, and more cockroaches in every corner. Still, I returned to the office that day with an offer on the table at the full asking price. That experience taught me that in property, first impressions might matter—but potential matters more.

I love spending quality time with my wife Coral and our daughter Hallie. We try to get away whenever we can, although balancing my business and Coral’s own fashion brand can make that a bit of a challenge.

At the weekend, if I’m not at the London Stadium cheering on West Ham, you’ll likely find me on the local golf course—enjoying a bit of friendly competition and fresh air (only in good weather though).

When running my own estate agency, I often notice competitors proudly talking about market share and boasting about the size of their slice of the pie. That was never my goal. In fact, I believe this pursuit of volume is where many agencies fall short—sacrificing quality of service for quantity.

I’ve always prioritised a more personal, bespoke experience for every client. That’s why I’ve intentionally kept my client intake limited—both when selling homes and helping clients buy. I truly value working 1:1 with my clients, which is why I cap my active buyer clientele at just five at any given time.
